Default Dotptoject and PHP7

Hi, I'm running Dotproject 2.1.8 on PHP 5.6 and it works okay. I tested it on PHP7 and that doesn't work. Will there be an update for PHP7? I love using Dotproject but it needs to be future proof.

I tried updating dotproject for PHP 7.0 but couldn't figure out the details. When I dug further, web2project claims it works with it. I haven't tried applying their patch to dotproject but hopefully it will work!

I switched to Web2project yesterday. I used this manual: http://docs.web2project.net/docs/installation.html, the part 'Converting from dotproject'. And made a small adjustment to the config file: http://support.web2project.net/quest...-500-with-php7
It went smooth for me. Do make a backup before starting and if you get errors, searching 'PHP7' on their forum might help.
Good luck, Tom.

I only now noticed that there is a filter that allows you to see older posts, please check out my post from yesterday:

It seems that updates for dotproject are few and far between, so if the moderators will consider help I managed to get everything working on PHP7 and nginx over the weekend. If you feel adventurous, go ahead and clone the repository:

All the fixes are on a feature branch ready to be reviewed!

I am still wating to hear from the powers that be and am very willing to contribute fixes and upgrades.
