Post Installation Of DotProject with apache2triad

Hello Group,

I am new with this dotproject framework and trying to install first time on my windows 8 system.

Steps, I followed till now.

1) Install IIS
2) downloaded dotproject from Sourceforge Download
3) Extracted and kept under wwroot folder of IIS.
4) used localhost and started installation.
5) I selected create config and install db option.
6) But very next page, system throw me error about not having connectivity with mysql .
7) Then I downloaded apache2triad and kept under wwroot folder and trying accessing files using local host and i succeeded in that as well.

8) but now Iam stuck at this stage and not finding ways to install this mysql.

Can you please help me to move ahead to complete this dotproject installation. Or, if I am missing something else as well then please correct me.

Thanks & Regards

Did you already tried to edit the includes/config.php to set the database connection parameters?

Yet, how are you testing your MySQL connection? Did you have already installed PhpMyAdmin or some other DBMS client? It sometimes help you to identify if your MySQL server is running properly.
