Hi guys,

This is quite interesting.
We currently use Flyspray bugtracker (for its simplicity),and embed a specific project's bugs in our project wiki.

I am wondering if we can use this rss feed for a specific list of project tasks and due dates, so that we can embed the tasks in the same part of our wiki, to centralize everything while still using the best or favorite in class tools.

It appears from the description that this just gives all project statuses, not tasks.

How does one actually install this?

I set up the rss table per your sourceforge script.
I copied the 1 file into /modules/public/ and 2 files into /modules/system/
I did not copy over root/index.php that seems dangerous.

I tried running RSS from the System menu and I get a list of projects with checkboxes.
When I check one off and hit SUBMIT, I get this error:

ERROR: /home/SITE/public_html/client/classes/query.class.php(590): query failed(INSERT INTO `rss`(`token`,` project_id`) values ('OaKsCyASWpL6EKmcsm3kMb1dv8DW3NSx41zL2699OyGfOvgV NiTzo4MscBxCndy', 74)) - error was: Unknown column ' project_id' in 'field list'

the project_id field should exist in the new rss table created by the sql file. Can you please verify that it is the case?

You are right not to use the main index.php file anymore, but there are a couple of lines in it that you will need in order to see the rss links (otherwise permissions will get on the way).

The rss feed for projects was done as sort of a proof of concept. At a later stage, a more complete version will be created as a proper, standalone module - if you have any specific requirements for it, please make sure you post them to mantis as feature requests.

I used the sourceforge .sql statement to make this table.
There are two fields in my table named 'rss':
token
project_id

There is no primary key to this table

I'll look at mantis.

Hi, just curious if there has been any progress on this and if it is set to work with 2.02.

Thanks

pardon the lack of knowledge, but where does the following

here is the schema for the table:
CREATE TABLE `rss` (
`token` varchar(64) NOT NULL default '',
`project_id` int(11) NOT NULL default '0'
) TYPE=MyISAM;

go?

thanks,

Curious if we could bring this up to date.

I am receiving the following error:
ERROR: C:\webs\test\project\classes\query.class.php(592): query failed(INSERT INTO `rss`(`token`,` project_id`) values ('qSq1R8OzZ88eWBniDladaf9DFVyu8jnIuA43d9MTjJ5hEunQ QtNBHfjUSUgOTVl', 38)) - error was: Unknown column ' project_id' in 'field list'

2 C:\webs\test\project\index.php:311 require('C:\\webs\\test\\project\\modules\\system\ \rss.php')

Hoping we can resurrect this potentially very useful module.

By "we" who do you mean?

You're welcome to do it anytime, it's open source.
