Unhappy Helpdesk on dp 2.1.8

It's been a while folks

I've been drawn back to dotProject recently after researching some other project alternatives and remembering how great dotProject plus the helpdesk module was back in the day. dotProject 2.1.8 is now available via a cPanel/ Softaculous install, and there it is in all it's glory just waiting for the helpdesk module to round it all off. And therein lies a problem ...

The install relies on replacing query.class.php with the one in the helpdesk module, and there's a bit of a version mismatch there. The best version i could find was helpdesk-dp211-01212008, and it breaks Contacts first of all with
Code:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method DBQuery::quote_sanitised() in /home/.../public_html/jim/dotp/modules/contacts/index.php on line 31
The helpdesk page itself does come up after adding a Company, but attempting to add an item gives
Code:
Fatal error: Call to a member function checkModule() on null in /home/textteam/public_html/jim/dotp/modules/helpdesk/addedit.php on line 40
So guys, does anyone know what the latest compatible versions of dotProject and the helpdesk module are, and where to find them? Come on, let's show people what proper software does!

Cheers
Jim
